Forged steel gate valves are all gate valves made of forged materials, collectively known as forged steel gate valves. Forged materials include A105, F11, F5, 304, 304L, 316, 316L, etc. The commonly referred to forged steel gate valve in China usually refers to small-diameter forged steel gate valves, with a diameter range of DN10~DN50; Pressure range: National standard PN16~PN320, American standard: Class 150~2500, can be produced and processed in American standard or national standard sizes. Forged steel gate valves with diameters exceeding DN50 need to be customized.

Most forged steel gate valves are designed with Dalian style reduced diameter. Compared with cast steel gate valves of the same diameter, the flow rate is slightly smaller, but the pressure and temperature range they can withstand are higher. The sealing performance is also much better than cast steel gate valves, and the service life is longer. The direction of medium flow is not restricted like other gate valves.
